Blackjack, the classic game of '21' dresses up and labels to go to the Casino

It is the modern and own version of the casinos of the classic '21', and consists in obtaining said score by adding the values of the cards.

Blackjack, a modern version of the classic 'twenty one' of a lifetime, is a card game, typical of casinos (you can also play online at, which consists of obtaining 21 points by adding up the card values.

The numerical cards (from 2 to 10) add their value, the figures add up to 10 and the Ace is an 11 or a 1 if the eleven made the player go from 21 in the total play. If you get 21 with only two cards, it is considered blackjack and is won automatically.

It is played on a semicircular table with a capacity for 7 players, each of which has a locker marked on the mat to place your bet before each hand. This bet must be placed on each hand, necessarily before the first card is put into play.

The bank deals 2 cards to each player, (remember, the Ace is worth 1 or 11, the figures are worth 10, and the numerical cards their natural value) being able to change the value of the Ace according to the play.

The player has the possibility to stand (keep the cards he has) or ask for a card, but if he passes 21 he loses automatically.

Players who have a higher score than the bank win without exceeding 21, or get a blackjack.

For its part, the dealer has rigid rules to adhere to: if his initial score is 16 or less he is obliged to take another card, and will be planted whenever his score reaches at least 17. These rules will apply regardless of the moves that each of the players have.

To play a game of blackjack, the following concepts must be taken into account:

Double: placing an additional bet on the original, the dealer serves the player a single card on the two initials. Each casino has rules for this play; some allow to double always whatever the first two cards, others only allow to double if the first two cards add 9, 10 or 11.

Separate: if the first two cards are of the same numerical value, the player can separate them, placing an additional bet. One more card is served on each of the separate cards, each game of two cards being an independent play.

If the second card served on each play is equal to the first, you can separate that play again by placing another additional bet, and so on.

Secure / insurance: play that consists of betting that the dealer will get blackjack, when his first card is an Ace. You cannot bet on this play over half of the initial bet. If the dealer gets blackjack, he pays the player twice the insurance bet.

Surrender: if you consider that your first two cards will not be able to beat the dealer, giving up will only be charged to the player for half of his initial bet. This rule does not exist in many casinos, mainly Europeans.
